1. What should I bring with me to the test center? How can I prepare myself for my test appointment?
Most tests require one official photo ID and another card, which should show your name and signature (for example a credit card). Both cards must be valid. We recommend you to arrive to the test center 30 minutes before your scheduled time.
In addition to studying for the test itself, the candidates should read the rules of the test operator (eg. Pearson VUE, Kryterion) carefully before entering the test center. Eating and drinking in the testing room is forbidden and personal belongings (cellphone, handbag, etc.) must not be taken in the testing room.
In some tests, a preliminary test result can be obtained immediately after the test at our test center. In some tests, you may have to wait up more than a month for results. This depends entirely on the test. However, in most cases after the test, a preliminary result is obtained immediately, and more detailed official results will arrive later by email.
The CertyHub test center is located on the ground floor of Kvintti building in Spektri Business Park, Northern Tapiola. The nearest metro station is Aalto University, which is about a 15 minutes walk away. The closest bus stops are Tietäjä (busses 550 and 555) and Keijuniitty (bus 111). There is also a parking lot in front of the building where you can leave your car. Parking fee is 1€ / hour and you can pay with app or to the parking machine at the parking lot.
All available test times are can be seen in online booking systems of each test operator. Please contact us directly at bookings@certyhub.com for group inquiries, or if you need assistance with the booking process.
Changes and cancellations of test times should be made through test operators’ online booking systems. If you have problems with your online booking, please contact the test operator’s customer service center directly. If we have made the reservation for you, please notify us directly regarding the change / cancellation either by email bookings@certyhub.com or by phone on +358 600 411 132 (0,99€ +local network charge) as soon as possible. In case of cancellation, the specific cancellation policy of each test operator will be followed.
We recommend that you arrive well in advance before your scheduled appointment, but no later than 15 minutes before the test time. Participants in GMAT and PTE tests are advised to arrive 30 minutes early as the check in process will take longer. Whether or not we can allow a late test taker to take the test depends on the test operators’ rules regarding delays, and our current booking status. If you are running late please let us know by phone +358 10 3485000 as soon as you can.
Spektri Business Park has two restaurants where you can have lunch before / after your test. The Spektri Business Park is also close to the S-Market, which has a café and a restaurant called Fafa’s. There are also eateries near the Aalto University in Otaniemi.
Unfortunately, rules state that friends and family members of the candidate may not be at the test center during the candidate’s test. However, there is a café-restaurant on the ground floor of Spektri Business Park where candidate’s friends are most welcome to wait during the test appointment.
The breaks are determined by each test operator and exam sponsor separately. Some tests include a scheduled break, but mostly breaks are not included in the test. However, depending on the exam sponsor’s rules, you can usually take a short unscheduled break keeping in mind that the test clock keeps running. It is forbidden to leave the test center and to visit the locker during the break. The break policy for each test is explained to each test taker separately before the test begins.
If you have already booked and paid for your test on the Kryterion, Pearson VUE, Castle / Scantron or ACI online booking system, you no longer need to sign up for CertyHub separately. Information about enrollment is passed to us through the test operator.
