The GMAT™ (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a computer-based exam, that assesses the candidates’ analytical writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in standard written English. This 3½-hour test is often required for admission to graduate business programs (MBA) globally.

The GMAT™ Exam Has Four Sections:
- Analytical Writing Assessment: measures your ability to think critically and to communicate your ideas.
- Integrated Reasoning: measures your ability to analyze data and evaluate information presented in multiple formats.
- Quantitative Reasoning: measures your ability to analyze data and draw conclusions using reasoning skills.
- Verbal Reasoning: measures your ability to read and understand written material, to evaluate arguments and to correct written material to conform to standard written English.
Important to know
- Take the GMAT at least two months before your first application deadline, so you have enough time to prepare your applications.
- The official results will be available in 20 business days after taking the test.
- GMAT™ exam can be taken once every 16 calendar days. You can only try five times in a rolling 12-month period and no more than eight times total. Retaking the test is cheaper than taking it the first time. Check the exam fees here.
- Always arrive on time and give yourself at least 30 minutes for preparation before the test starts. Please remember to bring a valid photo ID with you on the testing day.
- Due to the high security test policies your palm veins will be scanned before and after the test, but also when you take a break and come back to the classroom. It is used for detecting fraud and/or impersonation during tests.
- The candidates are allowed to have two breaks during the exam.
